في إطار مشروع “الدعم التقني لتعزيز التنمية الشبابية في لبنان” (#سياسات_شبابية) الممول من الإتحاد الأوروبي والمُنفذ من قبل المجلس الثقافي البريطاني بالتعاون مع الجامعة الأميركية في بيروت ، نظمت وزارة الشباب والرياضة بحضور النائب سيمون ابي رميا، رئيس اللجنة البرلمانية للشباب و الرياضة ، حلقة نقاش في جمعية الطاقات الشبابية – جبيل موجهة للشباب اللبناني بهدف التوعية على السياسة الشبابية الوطنية في لبنان التي أقرّها مجلس الوزارء عام 2012 ومناقشة أهم قطاعاتها.
ويأتي هذا اللقاء يأتي ضمن سلسلة من حلقات مماثلة للشباب ستشمل مختلف المناطق اللبنانية من أجل الحصول على عينة تمثل احتياجات وتطلعات الشباب اللبناني التي سيتم على ضوئها وضع استراتيجية للمطالبة بتحسين اوضاع الشباب في لبنان .
أشار ممثل وزارة الشباب والرياضة ادغار بلان خلال كلمته الى أن تفعيل السياسة الشبابية تتطلب تضافر الجهود من كافة المنتديات الشبابية والجمعيات الأهلية والوزارات المعنية.
بدوره قال أبي رميا ان الدولة لم تستطع الى حد الآن أن تحقق المطلوب على المستوى الشبابي مشددا” ان العمل والمشاركة الاقتصادية تأتي في سلم الأولويات ، داعيا” الى تفعيل دور المؤسسة الوطنية للاستخدام كي تقوم بواجباتها لناحية رسم سياسة خلق فرص العمل في لبنان على كل المستويات.
تلا الكلمات سلسلة من الجلسات التفاعلية والعمل ضمن المجموعات الشبابية على اعادة ترتيب قطاعات السياسة الشبابية الخمس بحسب اولوياتهم ووضع سلسلة من الإجراءات الملحة التي يجب التحرك من اجل تحقيقها تضمنت عرض اقتراحات الشباب للخطوات والنشاطات اللازمة لتحقيق هذه الاجراءات اخذين بعين الاعتبار كافة التحديات .إن مشروع “الدعم التقني لتعزيز التنمية الشبابية في لبنان” (#سياسات_شبابية) ممول من الإتحاد الأوروبي ويهدف إلى تعزيز دور ورفع مستوى مشاركة الشباب في لبنان فيما يتعلق بالسياسة الشبابية الوطنية.
Within the framework of the “Technical Assistance to Support Youth Development in Lebanon” project funded by the European Union and implemented by the British Council in collaboration with the American University of Beirut, the Ministry of Youth and Sports organized a consultation meeting at the Youth Energy for Development (YED) office in the presence of MP Simon Abi Ramia, Chairman of the Youth and Sports Parliamentary Committee.
The meeting, which is part of a series of similar consultations organized with youth groups in Lebanon, aimed at raising awareness and discussing priorities, procedures and possible implementation steps ofthe National Youth Policy in Lebanon, which was endorsed by the Council of Ministers in 2012.
The representative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. Edgar Ballan stated that the implementation of the youth policy requires concerted efforts from all relevant stakeholders, including the youth forum, Civil Society Organisations and concerned ministries.
MP Abi Ramia stressed that “work and economic participation is a priority”, calling for the activation of the role of the National Employment Office (NEO) in carrying out its duties, mainly to adopt a job creation policy in Lebanon at all levels.
Following the meeting, a series of interactive sessions and workshops among youth groups took place to discuss the needs of youth within the five priorities of the National Youth Policy: immigration, employment, political participation, education and health, and the means to reach the desired results.

This project is a 2 year project, which aims at building the capacities of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Youth Forum, enhance the role of youth and increase the level of youth participation in Lebanon in relation to national youth policy.
