شهادة من طفل
فهل، من يرى أو يسمع ؟…
عزيزي السيد بان كي مون،
لك سيدي وللعالم أجمع.. جئت لأشهد وأنا ، أحد ضحايا العدوان الإسرائيلي على لبنان في تموز 2006
أشهد اليوم أمامك سيدي ،
أمام العالم ، وأمام الضمير الإنساني
أن من أورثني هذه الإعاقة
هو نفسه في غزة يصنع إعاقات جديدة
من سرق مني فرح طفولتي
هو نفسه في غزة يسرق أحلام الأطفال
من أحرق منزلي وهدم مدرستي وزرع الألغام في حقل والدي
هو نفسه في غزة يحرق ويهدم ويزرع الموت والحقد والدمار
أشهد ، سيدي،
بأن جلاّدي لا يزال يعبث
في الأرض فساداً
وتحت أنظار العالم أجمع
وضحاياه، أطفال فلسطين
تغرق بدمائها
تتألم ، تجوع، تشرد، وترتعش خوفاً،
أشهد بأن ما تقوم به إسرائيل الآن
هو فعل إبادة
جرائم بحق الإنسانية ، بحق الطفولة
فهل، من يرى أو يسمع ….
عذراً ….. سيدي،
ففي عالم الطفل العربي
طفل لبنان والعراق وغزة
تستباح الطفولة
وتخطف الأحلام
في عالمنا …. سيدي،
يقتل الذئب ليلى ويذبح جدتها
ورابنزل تبقى محاصرة في القلعة
وتموت جوعاً…
وسنو وايت تسمم بالفوسفور الأبيض المميت
والأميرة النائمة تقتل في نومها
وسندريلا تتعرقل بالألغام والقنابل العنقودية
في عالمنا العربي
يلهو الأطفال
بمخلفات القذائف
على ركام منازلهم
ويحلمون بوطن لا تدنسه
أقدام معتد في أي لحظة
يحلمون … نعم سيدي،
ما زالوا يحلمون باللعب والحلوى والكتاب والرغيف
وبأعياد لا يقضونها في مدافن أحبائهم
في عالمنا العربي … سيدي،
يولد الأطفال من رحم التهجير
وقد أعدت لهم مسبقاً
الديمقراطية الأميركية
كنية واحدة …. تهمة واحدة

أشهد … سيدي،
أنني لم أكن يوماً إرهابياً
بل مجرد طفل آمن بشمس الحرية كذلك أطفال غزة
سيدي الرئيس،
علّمت إسرائيل أطفالها
أن يرسموا لنا الموت على صواريخهم
وعلّمتنا أوطاننا
أن نرسم حدود أرضنا جيداً
معادلة عمرها ستون عاماً
سيدي،
هذه شهادتي لك وللعالم
قد يقتل الإسرائيليون أطفال غزة
ويقطعوا أوصالهم
لكن لا ولن يقتلوا الحلم فيهم
في وطن حر سيد مستقل
أشهد … سيدي ،
بجرحي المعلق في ذكريات طفولتي
بقلبي الذي أوجعه ولم يكسره الألم
بعزتي وعنفواني الذي لم ينل منهما العدو الإسرائيلي
بإيماني بالله ، والوطن العربي
طفل غزة ، كما طفل لبنان
سيبقى يقاوم من أجل الحياة

To you Sir and to the whole world…
I, a victim of the July 2006 Israeli attack on Lebanon, came to bear witness…
I reach out to you, to the whole world and to the Human conscience…
He who caused my disability, is the same enemy that is causing Gaza children ever new disabilities.
He who stole my childhood, is the same enemy that is stealing the lives of Gaza children.
He who burned my home, destroyed my school and planted landmines in our backyard, is the same enemy that burns, destroys and spreads death, hatred and destruction in Gaza.
I bear witness Sir,
Israel kills and harms while the whole world is watching…
And his victims, the children of Palestine -drowning in their blood- suffer, cry and fear…
I bear witness to Israel’s genocide, bloodshed and crimes against humanity…
But would anyone see or listen?
Excuse me Sir…
But in the Arab World: In Lebanon, in Iraq, in Gaza…
Childhood is kidnapped; Dreams are stolen…
In our world, Sir
The Wolf eats Little Red Riding Hood and slaughters her Grandmother…
Rapunzel remains trapped in the walled fortress and dies of hunger…
Snow White poisoned with white phosphorus…
Sleeping Beauty stabbed in her sleep…
And Cinderella stumbles over landmines and cluster munitions…
Fairy scary tales indeed…
In our Arab world,
Children play with war remnants found in the ruins of their homes…
They dream of safety and security…
Yes Sir, they still dream of play, candy, books and food…
They dream of holidays spent away from loved ones’ graves…
In our Arab world, Sir
Children are born displaced, labeled by the American Democracy as “Terrorists”…
I bear witness Sir,
That I was never a “terrorist”…
I am a child who believes in the right to be… So do Gaza children…
Mr. President,
Israeli children sent us hateful death messages drawn on extremely destructive chemical weapons…
Yet we choose to love…
We love our country and defend its land…
This is my testimony to you and to the world,
Israel could kill Gaza Children… It could burn their bodies…
But it will never stop our dream of a free and independent nation.
I bear witness Sir,
To the wounds that enveloped my childhood memories…
To my aching heart that pain could not break…
To my dignity that no Israeli could take from me…
Gaza children, like Lebanese children…
Will always resist and fight for life…
And they will see victory.
