Loading...On November 4, Puff Daddy took the internet by storm, surprising fans with his sonic motion picture, MMM, for free, in celebration of his birthday. Released ahead of the mogul’s final album, No Way Out 2, MMM, which is currently only available across streaming platforms, will be made available for digital sale globally this Friday, November 27 on iTunes.
The Black Friday release of MMM follows a massive amount of online buzz, with overwhelming press support from outlets like Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, XXL and The FADER. Rolling Stone declares, “Puff takes it back to hard beats and smooth vibes on a strong mixtape.” Calling him, “a consummate professional,” and MMM an, “all-star mixtape exploring the rap mogul’s Harlem roots.” Complex notes, “Puff Daddy is re-energized. He is the only person who can lead sessions with intense demands of perfection that seem fun as S**T too.” Pitchfork concludes, “He still commands attention from hip-hop heads and the casual music fan alike,” writing his “fountain-of-youth charm… is the appeal of Puff Daddy right there – the personable opportunist that recalls American, Gatsby-ian myths of self-made success.”
