Loading...Sony Music Entertainment Middle East announces the release of the new single for the Nr one selling, award winning artist Two Tone. The new single featuring none other than Morocco’s female Star Academy singer Ibtissam. Titled ’Weli Liya/Coming Home’, made its debut on all Arabic radio stations across the world on 30th of August and will be released across the region on iTunes Middle East, on September 11th.
“We’re really excited about releasing this song to the public and hope that they will love listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it,” says Two Tone. “It’s been a work in progress for some time now, and I’m very happy with the final result”
With a catchy beat, and lyrics about how Two Tone is always busy working but promises to be home soon while Ibtissam sings about how she is willing to cross seven seas to see her man again.
Two Tone has commented on the launch of the song saying: “Morocco and all fans of my music have been waiting for this song for a while now and receiving 2million views in the first 10 days of its release is an amazing achievement.”
Ibtissam Tiskat found fame in 2014 with her music debut on Star Academy and ever since her fans are waiting for her to release a studio recording.
The music and Ibtissam lyrics were produced and written by the extremely talented producer Hamid Daoussi who was also responsible for the big succes of Two Tone’s song “Mektab/Destiny”.
Hip Hop artist Two Tone enjoyed major success in the past year, with hits such as ‘Senorita’ – a collaboration with Cuban artist, Erick Machado and Reggeaton heavyweight Nengro Flow that reached #1 across Morocco, Dubai and Europe, and ‘Mektab/Destiny’, featuring Arabic heavyweight Rhany, that reached #1 on the iTunes Middle East charts, a first for a locally based artist.
