لم يكتف المنشد الإماراتي أحمد بوخاطر بشهرته العالمية، كونه أحد الفنانين الذي يقدم أعمالاً هادفة، ترتقي بالمستوى ويعالج من خلال كلماتها العديد من القضايا المجتمعية والإنسانية بصوته الملائكي، بل حصد مؤخراً على جائزة مسابقة “مونتغرابا” العالمية، للأعمال الروائية الأولى في مهرجان طيران الإمارات للآداب 2016، من خلال رواية بعنوان “فتى التنين”، إذ استطاع من خلالها أن يحوز المركز الثالث ضمن 170 متسابقا من مختلف الجنسيات.
وقد تسلم بوخاطر الجائزة مؤخراً من تشارلز نحاس وكيل “مونتغرابا” في الشرق الأوسط، بحضور كل من لويجي بونومي أعرق وكيل أدبي في المملكة المتحدة، وسيلينا ووكر الناشرة لدى “سنتشري آند آرو”، وهي التي أطلقات أعمالا عالمية منها “قبل أن أخلد للنوم” و”خمسون ظلا رماديا”.
وحول حصوله على هذه الجائزة قال بوخاطر المعروف عن إبداعه وتميزه في عالم الفن الهادف: يضيف هذا الإنجاز إلى موسوعة الإنجازات العديدة التي يقطفها أبناء الإمارات بسواعدهم و جهودهم ومواهبهم المختلفة، فمن الشرف والفخر لي أن أكون أول إماراتي يحصد هذه الجائزة في دورتها الرابعة.
وتابع: كتاب “فتى التنين” نقلة نوعية لي، سأتمكن من خلاله نشر هذه الرواية عالميا عبر أهم دور النشر والتوزيع العالمية في أوروبا وأميريكا والعالم بشكل عام.
يذكر أن جائزة “مونتغرابا” تأسست في إيطاليا عام 1912، وحققت نجاحات باهرة منذ انطلاقها وحتى الآن، إذ تعتبر مصدر إلهام للكتاب في مهرجان طيران الإمارات للآداب.
Ahmed Bukhatir, the very first Emirati to win Montegrappa Writing prize at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature
A multi-talented singer, author, and businessman Ahmed Bukhatir created history when he was announced as one of the top 3 winners of Montegrappa Writing Prize from Emirates Airline Festival of Literature 2016. Bukhatir, who has gained immense popularity worldwide with his angelic voice, spreading peace and love, is on the way to publish fantasy and fiction across the globe. He has achieved another milestone by marking his name in the list of Montegrappa Writing Prize winners.
The Montegrappa Writing Prize was held for the fourth consecutive year successfully as first-time writers were invited to submit their writings for a potential novel to be judged by one of the UK top literary critics Luigi Bonomi. In 2016 competition, over 170 submissions were made by writers excited to broaden new horizons of writing and publishing. From the stage set by Emirates Festival of Literature, Bukhatir has evolved as a new literary star, a story teller and soon to be a globally famous author.
Bukhatir’s Dragon Boy won the third prize from the worldwide submissions, thus became the first Emirati to win this award. Well known for the flare of uniqueness and novelty in his music, Bukhatir has again presented himself as a source of inspiration for the writers in UAE. This achievement will enable Bukhatir to publish his book globally across the most important publishing houses and global distribution in Europe, the United States and across the world.
